More and more individuals have made their final arrangements to be buried in the Holy Land. We are knowledgeable and experienced as to the various requirements to transfer a loved one for interment in Israel; from the initial contacts made with the local Israeli consulate, to the final arrangements with the Israeli Ministry of Health in Jerusalem.
Our service includes: the basic services of the funeral director and staff, the unassisted local transfer of the deceased to the funeral home, basic sanitary care, taharah (including the facility fee), tachrichim, casketing and, local transportation to Newark International Airport or JFK International Airport. Also included is an outer air-tray, Israeli Consulate fees, 1 Death Certificate and Transit Permit.
Airfare to Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, your selection of cemetery plot in Israel and, the fees of the receiving funeral home are not included. Additionally, certain third party and cash disbursement charges are required for your funeral service. These charges will be provided to you during the arrangement conference, in writing, on our Statement of Funeral Goods and Services Selected. Typical third party charges include, but are not limited to, rabbi's honorarium, the cost of additional death certificates, gratuities, obituary notices and other items, which you may ask us to provide for you. We will also advise you if there are any items which you are required to purchase in order to satisfy any legal or other requirements.
